Announcing my Book Launch Club
Book Launch Clubs are key to successfully launching a book!
My manuscript for my self-help book, “Meeting People in Real Life: Your Guide to Easily Meet People and Make Genuine Connections for Friendship and Dating,” is finished! Now, I’m preparing for my first-ever book launch, and to kick it off, I’m starting my book launch club. I aim to have a 15-person book launch club, and I’m asking you to join.
What’s a book launch club?
I learned about book launch clubs from
, who writes “The Lemon Tree Mindset" here on Substack. She was kind enough to share her Medium article, “I Didn’t Know I Needed A ‘Book Launch Club’ Until I Created Mine.”The idea is for a group of people to read an advance copy of “Meeting People in Real Life,” share feedback, write a review, and promote it through social media and word of mouth. Your participation in this club is not only a great way to support me as a new author but also an opportunity for you to be part of the journey of a self-help book that could potentially change lives.
Why would you join a book launch club? There are several great reasons.
First, as a member of the book launch club, you'll be among the first to receive an early free e-copy of the first edition of the book! This is a unique opportunity to dive into the content before anyone else.
Second, because I have set my launch date in July, I have given myself time to use the valuable feedback you sent me to make edits and adjustments to my manuscript. Your insights are crucial as I adjust my first edition and will help guide me with future editions and books!
Finally, I will share with you my first-hand experience of publishing and launching my book. I can say now that the hardest part of writing your first book is completing the manuscript. However, the other hard part is publishing and marketing your book so it can enjoy a successful launch and reach its audience. I’m living this experience now, and there’s much to figure out. From getting ISBN numbers to affordable ways to make your cover to deciding how much time and money to spend on marketing… there are many details to take care of. However, I’m learning as I go. I have great people (like
and ) who share their expertise with me. I know with the help of their support and knowledge, I’ll get there. As a member of my book launch club, you’ll get an inside view of the inner workings of a book launch, which you can then apply when you launch your own book. (And hey, if you join my book launch club, you know it’s pretty much guaranteed that I’ll join yours when you start one.)What does it cost to join my book launch club? Nothing. It’s free. You’re helping me by pre-reading my book and providing feedback, writing a book review on Amazon, and supporting my book on social media. I’m very grateful for that.
How do you join?
Reply to this post or direct message me on Substack. I’ll respond, and in a few days, I’ll send you a PDF draft of my book.
Thank you for your support. Please message me to become a member of my book launch club!
Hmm interesting, am gonna have to start one.
Hi Matt, I just read your updated post about this (and I learned about you via Veronica’s Lemon Tree Mindset) and I am interested if you have space in your book launch club!
